Chicago Air and Water show 2008

We went to the Chicago Air and Water Show today, we got a chance to see the Blue Angels. They were awesome, Elijah really enjoyed the show while Olivia covered her ears the whole time. She is really sensitive to sound. Anyways we thought it would be fun to do something with the kids before I start back at work on monday. We were already down in the city because the girls had another check up at childrens, So we thought why not. It actually ended up being free for everything which worked out even better. anyways here are the pics from our fun day.

baby watch 2008

Now i seem to have alot of time on my hands so i thought i would blog for a bit. Steph the title is for you.
As some of you know already im on strict bedrest untill i deliver. I have pre eclampsia again which sucks. my blood pressure cant seem to stay down, it goes up even if i sit up in bed. My doctors partner wont deliver this week because he wants to wait until my doctor arrives back in town on monday. So now i just have to lay in bed, yeah right. i still do stuff but i have to like lay down for two to three hours then i can get up for like two hours then i have to lay down again. Bev and Glenn let me borrow their blood pressure cuff so now i can keep a close eye on it. I think its stupid for a doctor to put someone on bedrest when they are 38 weeks along. Anyways the baby will come either way next friday. Josh is so excited he cant wait, im now just ready to have it done. i have gained alot of weight this pregnancy so im anxious to loose it.its so hard to sit and do nothing expecially since i like to be active. so i see my doc on monday we will see what he says. either way i have 8 days left and then im done with this whole child bearing thing. I have to say i really dont like being pregnant but i love the results.

july update

hi everyone,
its getting closer and closer to when the baby will come. our scheduled date for the c-section is aug 1st. unless the baby decides otherwise. If you dont already know, we are going to be suprised with this one because doctors say there was never a confirmation on what we are having and that it could easily be a boy, now this is after i bought all girl things. Josh has been telling me all along its a boy, he keeps teasing me about it because he does not think we need to pack any girl items! We have packed both so we will see. I dont like not knowing what it is, i like being prepared as much as possible. Things are good here in Illinois, josh has been helping mom out alot on the house. he,s put in a patio, painted some and pretty much completely changrd the yard. it looks really nice! mom and dad are really happy.
Have a great week!

Indiana Dunes trip

This weekend Josh and I headed to camp in the Indiana Dunes. It was alot of fun and exhausting. We left earily Saturday morning and just got hom this evening. It was a good weekend to go camping. It did however rain alot last night. but there is nothing like sleeping in a tent and hear the rain pouring down. We all slept well after it started raining. We climbed the dunes. Yes, this includes me. it was great exercize. i got some looks like why is a pregnant lady climbing the dunes, but hey why not. Josh kept making fun of me until I beat him up a Dune. Then he said how can a 8 and a half month pregnant lady make it up and down so quick, i told him to get in shape. lol...... I will enclose some pictures soon of our adventure. The kids loved playing in the lake. The weekend went well not to much chaos. the bugs were so bad! Josh took alot of nature pictures as usual, i took alot of pictures of the family. I love taking pictures and i think i am pretty good at it. anyways thats what happened on our little trip.

family dealings june 2008

Here is alittle update on some of things we did this month and some little tidbits about the kids.
We finished another year of school, Elijah will be going into third grade, and Savannah goes into first grade and Olivia will start preschool. The year ended with a bang, the kids did very well in school. Elijah just finished another season of soccer, he played indoor soccer for three months, he starts the traveling team next month, He loves soccer. Savannah just finished another year of dance. i will enclose pictures of the recital soon. Olivia also danced for the first time. Savannah also started Gymnastics this last november and she is doing very well.. She loves the Beam. This summer we arent going to enroll them in anything because its crazy with the daycare and im just getting too tired. The kids love being off of school for the summer! We are heading to the indiana dunes this weekend to camp on the beach, we are really looking forward to that. We spent the last weekend on the sycamore track because we walked all night with the american cancer society. We got to go up in a Hot Air Balloon, again i will enclose pictures that was alot of fun, elijah loved it savannah freaked out. We got to visit with my brother in law Mike and sister in law Suzanne. We got to meet Aiden, this was a nice visit. Elijah and Gavin loved being together, man they are two peas in a pod. this is basically what went on this month, as soon as i have this blog thing figured out i will put up some pictures.

hot, hot, hot

This is for all those women who have been pregnant in the middle of a HOT summer. Man oh Man is it miserable here. today it got to almost 90 degrees and in Illinois thats not the bad part of it. The bad part is humidity. This is my first blog and I am already complaining, this cant be a good thing! The kids spent most of the day outside either playing volleyball or playing in the pool. Poor Savannah was sick with the flu so she had to stay inside. My exciting news is I got both Elijah and Savannahs closets organized and new shelves put in and cleaned out. I also purchased the bassinett Josh and I wanted. Im still waiting for the carseat to come in. I ordered it from Babies R Us on monday, I was hoping it would be here by now. Sorry the blog is so plain im going to try to put pictures and more info on as soon as I can figure out what everything does.
